Well said! I have struggled with orthorexia in the past. Homeopathy helped me let go a bit and, as you wrote, "accept what I cannot change." I totally agree that fear of toxins is one of the toxins we often forget about! Maybe we can all use a little Arsenicum album every once in a while....

Excellent post. Especially mentioning the *fear*. Fear causes stress and stress causes illness and disease. We live in a world right now in which it seems everyone is terrified of "catching" something that will make them ill. As a 62 year old person, my personal "policy" is "just do the best you can". I read labels, try to buy the safest food I can, get the amount of exercise I believe I can do, *definitely* stay away from fast food and almost *all* highly processed foods and any kind of "convenience" meals, make everything I can from scratch, and I don't take *any* OTC or prescription drugs and I, of course, do not take "vaccines" *or* go to the "doctor" every time I have a sniffle or an ache. I find just doing "the best I can" and not obsessing over every last molecule of food that goes into my body seems to work well for me and I've been able to see people I know change their lives and become healthier by doing the same thing I do. We live in a poisonous world. Even the things I grow in my garden can't possibly be completely pure because of fallout from gawd knows what in the sky and the water I have to use on the garden as well. It's still better than what I could buy at the store for sure. We're all going to die. That's just a fact. All we can do is do the best we can with what we have and live our lives enjoying every minute of what life we do have.
