Rockefeller, the Flexner Report, and the American Medical Association: The Contentious Relationship Between Conventional Medicine and Homeopathy in America
Dana Ullman's newest article just got published in a respected medical journal! Check it out...and SHARE it with others!
I wanted to proudly announce that I just got a very important article published in a respected conventional medical journal published by Springer Nature (they publish NATURE, which is the most respected scientific journal in the world).
Click HERE to access this NEW article about Rockefeller and the AMA.
People who are familiar with my work KNOW that I have a special love for homeopathic medicine…its history, research, practical applications, and clinical practice. My previous book, The Homeopathic Revolution: Why Famous People and Cultural Heroes Choose Homeopathy, was on the history of many of the most famous people of the 19th and 20th century and their advocacy of homeopathy, including 11 American Presidents, 6 different Popes, and many of the most respected literary greats, physicians & scientists, sports superstars, artists and musicians, businessmen (and women), religious and spiritual leaders, and more.
The two most details stories are of Charles Darwin and JD Rockefeller…if you click on “Charles Darwin,” you’ll see an article that I wrote for a respected medical journal about Darwin’s amazing experience with homeopathy!
Now…I have done more research on Rockefeller because his story is one of the most fascinating…and it had a big influence on the history of medicine.
This article tells the story of JD Rockefeller's significant appreciation for homeopathic medicine. He ONLY sought medical treatment during the last 50 years of his life by a series of MDs who specialized in homeopathy. He told his philanthropy staff that he wanted HALF of his donations to medical institutions to go to homeopathic institutions...but not a single cent went to them! THIS article tells you the back-story here.
This article also tells the history of the early collaboration between the AMA and the pharmaceutical industry...and it gives insight into how the AMA got rich and powerful.
This article tells the history of how American medicine used a variety of questionably ethical actions and downright nefarious methods to suppress its leading competitor, homeopathic medicine, as well as other alternative treatment modalities.
I sincerely hope that you will tell your audience about this article. It is THAT worthy!
By the way, I was introduced to this medical journal, CUREUS (pronounced "Curious") by a friend and colleague, George Lundberg, MD, former JAMA editor and Medscape at-large editor.

This article is formally entitled, Rockefeller, the Flexner Report, and the American Medical Association: The Contentious Relationship Between Conventional Medicine and Homeopathy in America.
This article is long, and it is by far the most comprehensive and well-referenced article on THIS subject available.
Also, PLEASE consider “rating my article”: In the UPPER LEFT corner of my article, click on the words “RATE ARTICLE.” It’ll only take one minute…thanx.

How sad that despite JD Rockefeller's respect and admiration for homeopathy, his foundation and family members surreptitiously reshaped his intent, and for spurious reasons. Thank you Dana for this illuminating report.
Just as imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, calumny is a stalwart sign of fear.
I signed up for Cureus to comment, but I am greyed out. My grandfather was Rockefeller medical missionary in China in the teens. I would like your email to share his papers.
Speakers at MedX In 2013 admitted medicine was killing 400,000.
Andrew Weil always pointed out Homeopathy did better in 1918 Spanish flu. Grandfather’s friend had daughter getting neuromuscular help from Bess Mezendick but then Rockefeller administration cancelled it as didn’t support their model.
Love to you, Dana. You have sold another book. Please let me know how to send you more Rockefeller papers.
So that white thick hair was a wig, huh?
