I now live a block away from the monument to Hahnemann in DC, having finally moved out of my condo building with toxic mold. A few weeks ago my local CHD group invited homeopaths Dr Ioana Razi and Dr David Wember, along with Dr. Matt Irwin to speak with us. Matt brought your book. I come from Philadelphia where Hahnemann hospital was coopted by the medical model. Just reminded me it's time for my monthly dose of Lachesis.

Happy birthay indeed. A truely remarkable man. I'm fascinated with homeopathy and I'm blessed to have a local classical homeopath at my disposal, who reads German.

Some interesting dates you've provided for me to explore and maybe add to the medical establishment takeover timeline.

Thxs for this excellent summary of Hahnemann.

He also lived pre an understanding of genetics and evolution. I think his theory on miasms is incorrect., Psora, Syphilis, and Sycosis. He changed the treatment of mentally deranged people from cruelty to kindness. He understood that conventional medicine was basically poison, and he emphasized the individual. Also, do LM potencies really work and what is the mechanism of action, or is it placebo?

I recommend a lot more humility about miasms and about Hahnemann's insight into and contributions to our understandings of genetics and evolution, especially since you seem to be new to homeopathy and know little about Hahnemann.

Anyone who suggests that homeopathic doses are a placebo obviously is not familiar with the significant body of basic science research and clinical science research...and is also unfamiliar with medical history and epidemiology. Consider doing some homework here.

As for mechanism, here's just one article on this subject: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34177397/
